back when I started at my design school, we had a course called perspective. It was basically drawing allot of these cubes in allot of different shapes and sizes. at the time I had no formal drawing training, which my style reflected, so I found this whole thing very enlightening.
Since then I have had tried out allot of things. I have carved out a niche for myself and I have figured out what exactly it is that I want to do. so here, almost 4 years later I have decided to go back to these kinds of drawings.
The reason for this abrupt shift in drawing training, is that I have realized that, while I have allot of training in figure drawing, I really suck at anything to do with perspective.
So I have decided that the best thing to do is to go back to the drawing board, literally, and work on my fundamentals once again.
Don’t worry though, this new regime of mine will not interfere with my rigorous blogging. I will keep up the quality that you have come to expect… which is to say very poor.
